Reviving True Wine Traditions
|
Wine is always about traditions and that’s why here at Decanter we continue this labor of love in reviving the true wine traditions. For wine lovers to speak wine language eloquently is our main objective, which is portrayed in this June activities where you can be a part of it.
The hype starts in the middle of June as David Powell, Australia’s famous wine maker, has chosen Decanter as the venue for His winemaker dinner. If you’re not familiar with David Powell, you maybe familiar with His Torbreck vineyard, a leading wine estates from Barossa Valley, Southern Australia - the home of famous wine such as Torbreck Woodcutter’s Shiraz, Torbreck Woodcutter’s Semillon, Torbreck The Struie. For you who would like to know more about the passionate Mr. David Powell, you may go to : www.torbreck.com or simply book yourself for the exclusive winemaker dinner and meet David Powell in person!
Learning about a success story of David Powell also reminds us about Decanter’s own success story last month. The first success story was crafted by one of our sommelier, Bobby Corputty who was announced as the winner of ” Wine butler Competition “ at Wine n Cheese festival in 5th Kelapa Gading Mall, whereas the second one is the success of our South African Wine Tasting event, which was actually a souvenir of exquisite wine collection and exciting stories Yohan brought back from his recent trip to the country
We hope that every small success will lead to a bigger one and we believe that wine traditions were derived from little and big success story just like ours. So be a part of our success this month and we shall “ Revive the true wine traditions together…”
